Meetings Programme

Our Winter 2026 programme has now been published. Details are shown below. You can also download a PDF copy (print A4 double-sided, then fold into A5).

Most meetings will take place at Broadway House, 4-8 Broadway. Newbury (by the Clock Tower) starting at 1.45pm on Wednesdays. Occasionally, for a remote speaker or if not enough job seekers are able to attend, we will meet via Zoom. Our registered job seekers will receive details via email, including Zoom login details. To register with us - go to 'How To Join' on the job seekers' page. Joining and attending meetings is free.

Meetings finish about 3.30pm and are in three parts: 1) Tell Me About Yourself (your short sales pitch); 2) Hear and Share - sharing progress and tips; 3) A presentation/workshop on a specific topic (shown below): It roughly follow this curriculum. Not all modules are run each term and some new ones have been added since the map was created.

The series of meetings covers the whole lifecycle of the job seeking process, from getting started to improving your performance on the phone and at interviews. However, the timing of redundancies hardly ever coincides with the start of a cycle! Never mind, join us, and we will brief you on what you have missed. See our FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) for newcomers.
